When the Verve Remixed series debuted in 2002, its concept - inviting top DJs and producers to select songs from the label’s storied vaults - was an instant success, introducing classic jazz recordings to a new generation of listeners and kickstarting a global trend of jazz-electronic fusion. 

Now back on vinyl for the first time in over 20 years, “Verve Remixed Vol. 1,” the series' inaugural release, is available on orange and yellow “remixed” vinyl. Iconic tracks by Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Astrud Gilberto and more are given new life with fresh, genre-defying interpretations by renowned remixers including Thievery Corporation, Tricky, UFO and King Britt.
